Bee pollen is one of nature's most nutrient-dense superfoods—semi-sweet, crunchy, and bursting with goodness! Carefully collected by foraging honeybees, it serves as the main protein source for their young. It contains more protein per gram than any animal-based product and is packed with B vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and all 22 essential nutrients.
Ways to Enjoy
You can sprinkle it over smoothies, yogurt, toast, salads, granola, or blend it into juices and teas. It’s even suitable for pets (in appropriate amounts). The taste is floral with a natural sweetness that pairs well with both sweet and savory dishes.
Our Ethical Harvesting Process
We ethically harvest our bee pollen right from our rooftop hives in Harlem, New York, with the health of our bees and the environment as our top priority. We use gentle pollen traps at the top of our beehives. As bees return with pollen on their legs, the trap brushes off just enough to collect, leaving plenty for the hive’s needs. No harm is done to the bees, and we collect every few days to ensure freshness and prevent mold.
After harvesting, we carefully filter out any unwanted particles, then freeze the pollen to preserve its freshness. It’s sealed in sterile jars, and stored in our commercial refrigerator until it reaches your hands.
Storage Tips: For the best quality, keep bee pollen in the refrigerator or a cold, dry place. This ensures it retains its nutritional potency and flavor.
A Note for Allergy Sensitivities
If you’re allergic to bees, bee products, or bee stings, please avoid bee pollen. The recommended serving is 1 teaspoon daily, taken with a full glass of water.
From our rooftop hives to your table, every jar is a reflection of our mission: to deliver clean, honest, and powerful nutrition straight from nature.
